Dad got his car!
We finally surprised our Dad with his "new" car at the Inland Northwest Car Club Council show in downtown Spokane on Thursday, July 21st. Here are a couple of shots of the Impala as well as a shot of my brothers 1954 Corvette that he just finished up as well.

Almost Done!
Well the goal was to have the car done by Father's Day, but we didn't make it. Damn reproduction parts that don't fit can sure make you crazy! Here are a couple shots of the car from a few weeks ago.
I'm still trying to determine if the rear bottom seat cover is correct, it seems too long for the Sport Sedan. The picture below is of the 4-door sedan and it seems the the seat cushion is longer then on the Sport Sedan. If anyone has the 4-Door Sport Sedan or 4-Door Sedan dimensions shown below, let me know.

These are the dimensions I'm looking for. |
What our bottom seat cover looks like, it extends past the rear back seat cushion. |
This is what I think it should look like |

Final Paint!
Took the car in on Friday August 28th for paint and it was done on Saturday! Thanks to Rob and Bob at American Way Collision Center. Awesome work and great guys. Have to give my brother a huge amount of credit for all the time and effort he put into the body work. Also need to thank my friend Tom who manages the Professional Finishes Store, he never got tired of all our questions.

Oh the fun we will have....
This is how it looked when the patch panels were removed from the floor. Not even enough left to weld patch panels to! Good thing they make full floor pans and toe kicks!
Time to start removing the bad stuff....
Adding the new stuff and patch panels.....

Rear floor and under seat pan |
